This play is adapted from Robert Browning's much loved poem, The Pied Piper of Hamelin. The Pied Piper is a wonderful story about keeping promises.
In our contemporary world, our word is easily transmuted or denied. The Children of Where You’re From must learn this lesson. They promise and do not deliver, and so the children learn that they must honour what they say they’ll do and if they can’t, they must be courageous enough to seek help.
