Birli Gallery & Press is more than a gallery, it’s a space to share stories, spark conversation, and build meaningful connections. We invite individuals, artists, community groups, and organisations to apply to host events, workshops, exhibitions, and cultural projects aligned with our values of truth-telling, collaboration, and cultural integrity.

For Artists & Creatives

We offer our space for:

  • Art Exhibitions

  • Book Launches

  • Artist Talks & Q&As

  • Creative Workshops

  • Community Gatherings

  • Cultural Education Events

We encourage applications from First Nations and non-Indigenous creatives whose work supports truth-telling, cultural strength, and social connection.

How to Apply

To apply, please send:

  • A short proposal describing your event or exhibition

  • Preferred dates and technical needs

  • A short artist or organisation bio

  • 5 images or samples of recent work

Community & Cultural Partnerships

We collaborate with:

  • Schools and educators

  • Local organisations and councils

  • Community arts groups

  • Storytelling and publishing collectives

  • Youth mentorships

  • Public art or storytelling projects
